|9/11 Memorial Service It’s hard to believe that nineteen years have passed since the September 11th attack on our country. However, sometimes with the passing of time, memories of such an historical event in our country’s history start to fade. You are invited to join with our local clergy, veterans, military and law enforcement, fire and rescue volunteers as we mark this 19th anniversary with a solemn memorial service to be held on September 11, 2020. The service will be held in the Mesier Park at 6:00 pm. The program will be a simple memorial service to honor all our fallen heroes. Guest speakers will focus on prayer, patriotism and national unity. We ask that all those attending be mindful that this is a memorial service and that all in attendance be respectful of the solemnity of the occasion.Sincerely,Village of Wappingers Falls Parks & RecreationWe shall never forget We shall keep this day, We shall keep the events and the tears In our minds, our memory and our hearts and take them with us as we carry on.911 Memorial WebsiteWe will be following social distancing guidelines and masks are required.|
